16 Days of Activism campaign

We support the spread of zero tolerance towards violence against women. From 25.11.2021 to 10.12.2021 we are participating in the 16 Days of Activism Campaign against Violence against Women, which is an opportunity for us and for you to break the silence and speak out about violence against women. The 16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women Campaign is an international campaign that was initiated by the first Women's Global Leadership Institute sponsored by the Center for Women's Global Leadership in 1991. The founders chose November 25 (Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) as the start of the campaign and December 10 (International Human Rights Day) as the end of the campaign because they wanted to symbolically link violence against women and human rights and to emphasize that such violence is a violation of human rights. On 25.11.2021, which is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, you can also express your position on violence against women by sharing the image - I say NO to violence against women - on your social networks. In this way, each and every one of you can say a clear NO to violence, support the campaign and contribute to changing societal attitudes on this issue, supporting women and children who experience violence themselves. This campaign is implemented within the framework of the Women's Rights are Human Rights project.

The Women's Rights are Human Rights project is supported by the Domestic and Gender-Based Violence Programme co-financed by Norway Grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic.

Working together towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
